What a pleasure to judge at this friendly well organised event,some good dogs and sporting exibitors, lovely to hear the applause for every class winner! We must remember what this breed was bred to do! and the condishions they would have to work in, no good just being pretty and glamours they MUST be fit for function movement was a problem! toeing in,poor rear action and restricted front movement is not what I want in this breed. Haveing had a little moan I was very happy with the line-up in both sexes. This surely is one of the most attractive glamours breeds there is but its important to get construction right or the dog just wouldnt be up to doing the job he was originally bred to do!! Presention was top class through-out this entry. my thanks again for such a lovely breed club show. (45)dogs entered with (29) present on the day.
Junior Dog 1st Sarnoushka Starstruck Sid, Masculine,smart outline,ex bite very attractive head type, well boned,ex pigment dark eye good front angles,just needs to body up slightly correct feet took a while to get into his stride but was totally sound alround a very pleaseing quality joungster.
Yearling dog 1st Karasea Mr Bojangles, not the biggest of males but no mistakeing his sex, loved his outline and overall balance scored with his lovely front angles and this came through on the move absolutely true coming towards me and very good rear action.atractive head,dark eye good bite,deep chest correct backline ex tail-set and carriage in good jacket that was so well presented! a dog with much promise liked him alot. 2nd Karasea Mr Wonderful, bigger masculine male in imaculate form, ex bone very pleaseing overall shape and balance a little narrow in front, he moved freely and was sound just prefered the front on one. Samgold Summertime Blues, ex presention on this exibit,a dog with much to like but couldnt match the action of the two in front today.
Graduate dog 1st Best Dog + Res BIS, Vandreem Imperial Piper At Briamanda, 23 month old this handsome male really made an impression on me, instantly catches the eye for his lovely breed type shape and balance just as lovely to put your hands on from his quality masculine head to his lovely rear quaters all topped with a super jacket of the right texture that was groomed to perfection free easy action ,surely has a good future he gave way to the BIS veteran purely on finish and maturity but either way i would have been just as happy, loved him!. 2nd Karasea Mr Bojangles. 3rd Samoushka Starstruck Sid.
Mid-Limit Dog 1st Pewfalls Perfect Gentleman, taller smart dog,easy the best mover of the two! liked his profile,masculine head good bite very pleaseing front, tail set and carriage could be better, liked his topline and rear angulation,easy sound action. 2nd Novaskaya Moonlight Lefay, quality dog again much to like front could be better and a little heavy over the withers! not moveing to well on the day.
Open Dog 1st Duckslake Spirit Of Valour, strong masculine male has a look of quality and breed type,pleaseing head good bite, balanced well bodied body good bone and feet!in imaculate nick ,sound just a little careless with his front at times alround a very nice male. 2nd Samgold Singing the Blues, out of 2 champions and the quality and breed-type you would expect from that, lovely head,dark eye ex pigment balanced body good bone and feet, ex presention again front action could have been better! sound but not putting all in on the move on the day. 3rd Arianrhod Hallan Jouni (JW), quality boy, again much to like, not quite the angulation behind of the 2 in front and has a tendancy to stand with his hind feet turning out.not moveing too well to-day.
Veteran Dog 1st Res Best Dog, Duckslake Brave Spirt, super dog for breed type overall shape and finish, looked quality masculine,so typical in outline ex jacket in wonderful form!like so many pastoral breeds absolutely at their best when 7 plus years old! could have showen a little more drive be-hind but his alround virtues gave him a well deserved res male. 2nd Nikitta Jumping Jack Flash, lovely male again in wonderful form a credit to his careing owner, masculine in lovely jacket of the right texture. 3rd Arianrhod Otavan Haamu, typical in outline, ex pigment, masculine, lots to like ,not the rear action i want.
Minor-Puppy Bitch 1st Best Puppy in show,Vandreem Imperial Shandlin With Ashlantie,8months,little cracker! femine ,lovely breed type, real look of quality about her,ex balance at this stage in her developement, loved her head and expression dark eye ex pigment, correct bite,strong well arched neck fitting into lovely shoulders, stright front ex bone for her size and sex good feet, strong backline deep chest,plenty of heart room, good tailset and carriage pleaseing quaters, in imaculate form handled and showen to absolute perfection,surely has an exciteing future in the breed.
Junior Bitch 1st Annecy Blue Diamond At Samgold,loved this youngster and she stood away in this class,ex breed type,sound and typical this girl could surely do the job she was intended to do!felt so right with hands on,lovely angulation back and front,typical in head,ex bite,good pigment,lovely easy strong action .would expect her to do really well in the breed. 2nd Vandreem Imperial Cerruti, smaller type,femine,good overall shape and balance,pleaseing quaters,front could be better! couldnt match one on the move.

Mid-Limit Bitch, 1st Miakra Shes No Lady, wouldnt agree with that I thought her a lovely sound honest typical bitch, perhaps not the glamour or flashy apperance of 2 but so correct to handle,scored with her lovely front.easy true action.2nd Nikara Airs and Gracies At Zeelukzak, instantly caught my eye with her lovely outline neck carriage and showmanship ,real glamour girl,lovely head in imaculate form ,sound, my preferance was the shoulders and withers on the winner! haveing said that im sure she has many fans!. 3rd Samgold Sugar N Spice, quality girl a little too heavy and couldnt match the movement of the two girls in front!. lovely head type correct pigment.
Open Bitch 1st Res Best Bitch, Absolute Xamba Yoshi And US (swk imp)totally different in breed type to most present to-day, haveing said that so much to admire,strikeing and typical in outline,loved the head ex eye shape dark correct pigment.strong neck.lovely shoulders and front good bone and feet! shapely body ,deep chest,strong quaters she scores on the move easy strong action ,particulary liked her hind action,in lovel body and coat condishion, not over coated but dence harsh weather resistant what would be needed in her working capacity. I though she was lovely. 2nd Arianrhod Hallan Juhla, again a lovely quality girl different in type but equally correct and she pushed one all the way! sound and typical in ex form. 3rd Annecy To Catch A Dream at Pewfall, quality,ex breed type,a little too heavy on the day and not the hind action i want.
Veteran Bitch, 1st BIS + best Veteran, Astutus Caroushka ,at her very best! instantly took my eye in this good line-up. femine stunning outline real showgirl! loved the head correct neck and shoulders stright front good feet, lovely body qualities deep chest,strong quaters in the most imaculate coat and condishion ,I understand has a CC and several Res CCs must have been unlucky not to have her title but on this form its still within reach, I though she was a top class typical sammie bitch and she made a most worthy BIS being Pushed ALL the way by the lovely young male. 2nd Petsamo Dawn Chorus In Miakra,again a lovely girl on top form and proof indeed of the lasting qualities of the breed! looking her very best.3rd Shanigo Hiawathas Love, nice bitch with a typical outline,again in lovely form just a little careless with her hind action but a credit to her owner for keeping her in such lovely condishion.
